About Earth Energies Sanctuary
The concept of the Sanctuary has evolved over the past 12 years as we developed our land and found our own place of retreat. I think as a result, we’ve realised a wonderful combination of nature, environment and an amazing aligned group of therapies. Everything we do here is based around the right energy, working with nature on the land, growing native Kawakawa for our ointments, caring for our Red Devon herd, nurturing the beehives, looking after our guests - we try to keep everything in a natural balance.
There is something beautiful and balanced that comes forth when you allow things to evolve as you are following a life purpose, calling or dream.
The journey, however, has not always been easy, our farm was a 200-acre blank canvas so we started with building 2km of roading and power, establishing a dam and trough system, kilometres of fencing and planting of thousands of natives. Then came the building of the implement sheds and the chook sheds, followed by the cabin and then the Botanicals product rooms where we handcraft our range of native Kawakawa products. It was a further 6 years until we were able to realise our dream of building the main residence and the therapy rooms.
The past two and half years have seen us complete the main residence and purpose built therapy rooms and we are delighted to now be able to share our special place with guests as of May 2019.
It was incredibly important to us that the environment was harmonious and balanced, enhancing the natural eco system working on soil biology, natural fertilisers and introducing bee hives – due to this we have seen the return of native birds, frogs and wildlife.
We feel so inspired by the inner calm we personally experience from our property’s native bush, the birdsong and cleansing streams that we feel called to share it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a wonderful, relaxing and rejuvenating stay at EES. Marie was the perfect host, the accommodation was stylish, relaxing and the perfect combination of luxury and serenity. The attention to detail is inspiring and I left feeling very spoilt indeed.
The half day spa package was luxurious and relaxing. Marie the perfect mentor and coach to help you find your balance and rhythm again.

I instantly felt at peace the minute we arrived! The house is decked out to give you complete privacy (besides the cows that visit you but they mind their own business)
The bed is so luxurious and soft so a good night's sleep is promised!
On a clear night the stars are so bright its phenomenal.
The only thing I wouldve LOVED is a spa pool so that we could use the outdoors more (even in winter) but that is a high expectation for any stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the most amazing time away with my daughter, celebrating her 18th! The cabin is gorgeous with breathtaking views, was so nice getting away and just being able to relax in the peaceful surroundings. The chef prepared meals were delicious and the morning baths overlooking the gorgeous views were special. To top it off, we enjoyed a full day of treatments in the beautiful treatment rooms where Marie made us feel so very relaxed - my favourite being the Aroma Touch and Float Therapy. Thank you Marie and Duncan for a magical few days! We will definitely be back. Xx

The accomodation was peaceful, quiet and immaculately designed for self nurturing and rest. The therapies and healing spa were fantastic. The food was excellent. Marie and Duncan were the most thoughtful and generous hosts. Nothing was a bother. I highly recommend this experience and will be back.

Marie holds space for healing to happen with great resources and therapies! the privacy of the float tank and sauna is perfect and there is everything you need in that space to be able to let go and fully relax. Such a reasonable price for a day of relaxation and nurturing! i look forward to returning with girlfriends to experience the amazing accommodation on site!
