★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place, good Pitt stop for us heading to Rotorua. Was pleased to see a baby changing room for our little one.
Custard slice is yum.
Coffee is surprisingly good too!
Overall good quick stop.
Waitress service is terrible.
Would love to try the food though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Usual good food, but disappointing that they served all food and coffee’s in takeaway cups and plates. when asked why the response was they were short staffed- at the time 11.00am there were 5 staff and only 8 customers in the cafe ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately the food was not so good on this occasion. The menu was smaller than previously. The bacon unfortunately was not very good quality, lots of fat and not cooked well done as asked. But the staff are still friendly and welcoming, and even better it's dog friendly, and our two Rotties were given lots of pats.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unique decor with a lovely and spacious outdoor area in their garden. The soup was hearty and tasty! Great staff and parking is easy as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Often stop here on our way to Auckland from the Bay of Plenty, just turn left at Mangatarata and you are in for a treat a minute down the road, they make the most delicious pies, especially their roast lamb and chicken with mushroom pies, with chutney and really fresh salads. Plenty of outdoor seating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited Cafe last week and ordered roast vegetable wrap and steak and mushroom pie, both absolutely delicious.
The Cafe itself was so clean and tidy I could have 'ate off the floor'.
Highly recommend. Oh and the staff were very welcoming. Thank you

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little cafe to stop at along the highway for pies, breakfast, sandwiches, toasties, salads, desserts, amazing coffee and tea drinks, and a good selection of cold drinks.
The service is always quick and friendly.
They have indoor and outdoor seating.
There are items available for purchase, like local honey, olive oils, dressings, jellies and jams, and ice cream treats. Milk, dairy items, fresh eggs, and fresh vegetables are also available for purchase.
Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available, too.
One of our favorite stops while traveling around New Zealand!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely cafe with both a good indoors and outdoors setting. The food is good with standard fare, but I go there just because of the ambiance and the rustic outdoor seating ?
