★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have used East coast a number of times, installing both our hob gas unit and replacing our hot water cylinder x 2 however despite having used them half a dozen times I am absolutely astounded how our most recent exchange has gone.
About 20 months ago our taps begun to leak despite being closed, we called up ECPG whom sent out a service person to address, they did manage to make it easier and stopped the leaking for a time, after about 2 months the taps leaked again, because of covid we couldn’t get them in for a few more months, they advised to replace the whole unit. The unit wasn’t standard so they advised us to source our own then call them back once we had a replacement. This took us 4 months again because of covid but also because of the unusual size. We were given a time and date, and my wife took half the day of work to allow for installation. However, the day before hand I check my emails to advise they will not install this tap unit.
Very unprofessional method to let me know, especially given all other communication was over the phone (other than a single email exchange)
I think this is poor form, and if you didn’t want to do the job in the first place then they should have said so,
