★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely the WORST company I have ever dealt with in my entire life. Terrible communication, over 2 months since a woodfire was purchased and installed through them. Very loud sucking noise coming from the flue in the ceiling, lots of empty promises to fix it. I have rung many times and its still not resolved. DO NOT use this company at any means, you will regret it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered an Aluminum Pergola. Before we ordered we were told over the phone it would be available on the 3rd Dec. Now we are a few days from Xmas and are told we will get it next year. Not happy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They delivered a Vitality 3 person Sauna damaged, July 2021, they said they couldn't replace 1 panel (front panel) It was factory damage that didn't prevent the sauna working but it is damaged and bought NEW. They offered me $150 as compensation, August 2021, but have failed to pay me. I wouldn't buy anything from the Hastings Retail Store ever again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I purchased a gas fire from here as a Xmas gift. It arrived and I checked the packaging carefully. There was no evidence of any dents or damage. We opened it for Xmas and there was a crack through the table and three large chip marks on one edge. The edge was well protected and there was no evidence of any damage to the protective layer. The glass surround also did not fit and was the wrong size. I contacted Turfrey and they provided an unhelpful and unapologetic response, including blaming freight damage and that I had not claimed freight damage within 48 hours of delivery. Despite my repeated assurances that it was not possible to be freight damage, they maintained this. They have agreed to a backorder in March. However, the communications implied blame and/or fault on my behalf and there has been no apology for the issues caused. Very poor customer service in my experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Turfrey installed our fireplace as well as a gas hot water system and a air-conditioning unit on our property when we bought 3 years ago.
When we phoned them requesting they repair the fireplace mid last year we were told they would be in touch when they can confirm an appointment time.
It has now been nearly 4 months and today when I called wondering if we would be fit in yet we were told they don't have the time and will not be returning at all.
I expressed my disappointment only to be answered with 'ok'.
I am beyond disappointed now.
We were looking to have another air-conditioning unit installed this year but I think we had better take our business elsewhere.
