Our Story
Set at the heart of stunning Waiheke Island, EcoZip Adventures is a certified climate positive, award-winning adventure and eco-tourism destination, offering state-of-the-art dual flying-fox ziplines with a beautiful eco-immersive forest experience.
Dedicated to lovers of nature and adventure of all ages, you’ll enjoy ‘the complete Waiheke experience’ with us, starting first with our ‘Waiheke Highlights’ tour, then riding a series of dual giant flying-fox ziplines, followed by a step back in time beneath the cooling canopy of our regenerating rainforest. Our twin cables make this a unique experience as, unlike other zipline tours, you can fly side-by-side with a friend!
Conservation is at the heart of our business, so while riding our ziplines is undeniably huge fun, and something you can share with friends, family and colleagues, you can do it knowing that by zipping with us you’re directly contributing to the preservation and protection of a beautiful, yet once threatened, piece of NZ rainforest. I would recommend to everyone, and helps get people out of their comfort zone !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommended. From the pickup at the Ferry Terminal, the tour of Waiheke on the way to the venue, the ziplining itself (such a thrill) and a bush walk to finish off the day. It was such a fantastic experience. The views were also stunning. Bring a camera!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Splendid experience. Phenomenal Customer Service by Rosie who helped me sort a booking after multiple changes to my itinerary were made. She was Ever friendly, Patient, Punctual and Professional.
This was followed by pick up and drop off by Shuttle Driver Dave who was energetic and humorous.
Then amazing instructors Sophie and TJ headed the Ziplining and Eco Forest walk mixing knowledge and doses of humour while maintaining a keen eye on safety.
Definitely one for the memories.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The greatest experiences, whether you’re with a bunch of friends, a friend or your girlfriend or partner. This place is so cool. The staff are so knowledgeable, safety is taken incredibly serious which makes you feel at ease drawing the whole time. Plus the walk through the bush was great and the guides were incredibly knowledgeable on a lot of the trees and plants and almost any other questions you could throw could throw him. The owners, one in particular but I can’t remember his name; he picked me up from the Waiheke wharf and drove us up to the location of the zip lines. He was awesome, had some great banter, lots of great and useful knowledge and could take a bit of a sheit thrown at him. So from start to finish, from pick up all the way to drop off, to which they are very open to dropping you wherever you want to go on the island. So from start to finish I don’t think there is a single thing that they could do to improve. Build more zip lines would literally be the only thing they could do and on the subject of them, wow are they exhilarating with incredible yet varied views. And speeds on a certain one!! Love it guys

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of fun. But I have to say 3 ziplines did not satisfy my adrenaline rush. Perhaps offer a second chance to go down ziplines at half price. I do recommend if you love the thrill of ziplines.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ziplining was awesome! Amazing location, great friendly guides and a good cause as a large part of the money goes into reforestation and caring for the land.
Wish there could be a slower, longer Iplime to appreciate the views even more, but the walk back up through the bush was a good way to complement the full experience.

It's quite refreshing to see someone who is very passionate about their job, the environment, sustainability and know all little cool facts about all the plants that we walked past. Thank you for the great experience guys! ??
