★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked this tour based on the reviews of previous clients. I am happy to say that they were right. Our private tour was amazing. Before our tour, he reached out to us and wanted to know what type of wine we preferred and from there, he made an itinerary that suited us. We did have an option to make revisions, since we were touring with our children. He suggested wineries, which were also kid friendly. He gave us suggestions for our lunch venue. He is not your typical "I will drive and bring you to the wineries". He is very knowledgeable with wines since he himself appreciates it. I highly recommend his tour. it was one of the highlights of our stay in New Zealand.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was looking for a wine tour during my Auckland holiday that would be beyond the normal "go to a few cellar doors and sample some wine." Geoff and Waiheke Custom Wine Tours is just that ---- far exceeding expectations. Geoff is a quick and thorough communicator and tries to understand what you are looking for and what you want to experience. His knowledge of wines, especially Waiheke, but all of NZ and his personal relationships with the winemakers and owners made for a great day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can't speak highly enough of Geoff. He is an excellent wine tour host - very knowledgable (on both wine and the island itself) and so friendly and accomodating he really gave us the exclusive and enjoyable tour that we were hoping for.
We arrived on the island quite late (past midday) but Geoff organised a schedule that would work for us to give us the best trip possible. Would recommend to couples or small groups who want an experience with a more personal touch rather than being part of a large, anonymous tour group.

Along with the best wine tour i have been on Geoff was knowledgeable about the Island, its wine, and local happenings. I would thoroughly recommend anyone considering a tour with Geoff to take the opportunity to do so. Not only will you taste some amazing wines you will also get a fantastic tour of the island

He was flexible with our taste, previous experience and preferences and created a day which was nothing but fabulous. Geoff has both personal and professional experience in the wine industry. Along with his strong love for wine and food, he was a fantastic resource for knowledge and advice including great recommendations for restaurants around the area. 10/10 experience and will definitely be seeing Geoff again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had researched a few different tour companies but I am SO happy we landed on Geoff's tour. It was a great experience from the first interaction. Geoff immediately reached out to us to begin customizing our 3 cellar door tour after booking online. He offered up suggestions and asked for our preferences on types of wines and vineyards we'd like to visit. Having never been to the island and picking just based on google reviews and pictures, it was immensely helpful to have Geoff's depth of knowledge. While he was happy to take us anywhere we wanted to go, he reviewed our list and gave us honest input and feedback on some of our selections. He made sure we got a good taste of the island, amazing views, and some of the best cellar door tastings available. He even made us a lunch reservation at Three Seven Two, a local spot across from the beach which we never would have been able to access or would have come across on our own. The food was delicious! We loved our day on the island and learning all about the vintages and types of wine local to Waiheke and NZ more broadly. The van was comfortable and we felt super safe in Geoff's hands. Would completely recommend booking this tour

From the moment he picked us up he was friendly and welcoming, throughout the day we learnt he had a lot of knowledge about wine, the vineyards and the island. Would 100% do it again and highly recommend it.
