★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ed was an absolute pleasure to work with. He built a comfortable living area for our small family, including a bunk bed for our toddler raised above our bed. She loved it. He made everything so easy and was open, honest and transparent at every step of the way. We couldn't recommend him highly enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ed is a great guy and extremely friendly. We sold the car to him and he was very honest about everything. Ed knows exactly what he is doing and has a lot of knowledge. So dont hesitate to contact him, its not easy to find a good car dealer ( especially for backpacker cars ) but he really tries his best to help you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We needed a quick turnaround as only had 4 days in Auckland, Ed was able to provide this and his flexibility was much appreciated especially considering how busy he was at the time. Ed is extremely helpful and knowledgable and he put us at ease with buying our backpacker car. We felt confident the car wouldn't let us down and it hasn't. Really good service. The extras are so helpful especially breakdown cover which put our minds at rest when travelling in rural NZ, and taking us to the AA to sort paperwork made things even easier.We can highly recommend Ed's campervans: friendy, professional, reliable, a very positive experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Edgar and his crew did an absolutely amazing job with accommodating our needs. Abby took time to patiently answer all our questions, and responded quickly at every step of the way. We were well informed thru the whole process. We paid for our vehicle before we arrived, it was super easy. When we arrived Edgar picked us up at the airport. We transferred the vehicle, got a few driving lessons that were a huge help, took care of the final details, and we were off. Edgar and his crew are 100% trustworthy and they give back to their community besides. I would use them again. Our family is from Wisconsin, USA, we just found Ed's on a Web search. Our van has been very reliable, Edgar knows his stuff! Great job crew!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought my car from Ed I couldn't have asked for more kindness and help. Very chill, kind hearted and down to earth person. When I came back to his place to get some things fixed, I was offered the best hospitality and treatment. My stay and time with Edgar and his people around him, even if it was for a couple of days was amazing.
Besides that, his cars are all in good condition and he tries his best to satisfy every customer even though he is very busy.
Im very thankful and extremely glad that I bought my car from Ed.

We just used our buy back option with Ed and he was awesome about it. Really amazing guy and made us feel completely comfortable about buying and selling the van back to him. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thank you so much Ed - after 11 months on the road our camper is still going strong. We found Ed online and he invited us out to check out the vans he had. He is such a friendly guy and the hospitality was amazing and he let us make some adjustments to the van set up whilst we were there which we really appreciated! He talks you through how to keep the van in good condition and answered our texts if we had any questions on maintenance months after purchase.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can't recommend Ed's enough! You pay a bit more, but the security is worth it instead of gambling on a private sale. Tell Ed your travel plans and he'll pick out something that will suit your trip. I looked at several private listings as well as contacted other van lots, but saw some reviews here and figured he could be trusted. Ed will make you feel at home, he even let me stay on the lot as a home base as I traveled both islands. He's really genuine, trustworthy, and will go the extra mile to help you however he can. Plus, great banter and conversations :)
His crew installed a secret compartment I requested to store electronics as well as helped me to get a second battery installed for charging devices. I did have an issue with the fuel pump mid trip, Ed was very responsive and helpful with troubleshooting, and covered the cost of the replacement pump. Thanks again Ed!
