★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would give 6 stars if I could. Everything looks news, the staff are excellent, and the doctors and nurses are really onto it - I can see lots of smarts in their eyes - and they are so thorough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic establishment! I had my laparoscopy to remove endometriosis here. The staff were amazing and super helpful. The facilities were great, I had my own private bathroom and a big window. I was regularly checked by nurses and orderlies. The food was good too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had to come back in the hospital after a double hernia repair back in march 2020 which had come undone. I had surgery on the 17 August. The surgeon was awesome, explained everything prior to surgery. The surgeon explained everything to my partner after i came out. The nurses were lovely and amazing. The dr i had thru my stay was great. And lastly the night nurse i had looking after me had me laughing. It was sore but it was good to have abit of a laugh. Thanks to the ESC staff at NSH... really appreciate it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently had an umbilical hernia op at the ESC. I wish to give my Heartfelt thanks to all staff at the facility for their professionalism,
humour and kindness. I was very humbled by their dedication to the patients in their care. I believe some of the jumped up leaders in the DHB's and higher echelons including the Minister should take a good look at how things should be done. Thank You all and hopefully I get the chance to assist you wonderful people someday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my laparoscopy for endometriosis done here on the 13th April and all I can say is wow! The staff here from reception to surgeons, to nurses right down to the food lady and orderly were just amazing! They treat you with dignity,kindness and respect and the 2 days i stayed here i felt like I was at home. Thank you Dr Fiona Connell, my anaesthetist Dr James, Anna, the kind girl Brooke that kept me company before my surgery, my nurses Hannah and Lucy, and everyone else that was in theater with me (sorry can't remember everyone's names) and all the staff at ESC that made my stay one to remember.North shore hospital could do with some training from the staff here on how to treat their patients. Thank you again!
