I have been receiving Rongoā Māori treatment from Ripeka Hook who is the only Māori Rongoā Practitioner in Waiharakeke A.K.A. Blenheim currently.
Ripeka has provided mirimiri (gentle massage), romiromi (deep tissue massage & manipulation), wairua (spiritual) related work such as energy work (like Reiki), reflecting on past lives, healing from past trauma, she carries out work that have elements of acupressure involved, she does intuitive work, D.N.A. memory work, māori prayers to ancestors & gods of the person, and also has shared her local knowledge with me of surrounding services relevant to our discussion topics which has been extremely helpful. Ripeka is understanding, always greets me with a smile, is helpful, caring, knowledgeable, informative, flexible, accommodating and so much more. She provides her service to anyone therefore, you do not need to be of māori descent to access her terrific service. I am grateful for the work Ripeka has done on me for injuries, it has helped towards progress in my recovery from injuries.
