Was feeling down and out and needed a pick me up this evening. I have to say, that this place did it for me…it did just that…pick me up. I was greeted by the friendly staff who made sure I was well taken care of. My hot chocolate was absolutely delicious, their cookies and brownies are just devine. Would definitely recommend Elisabeth in Kingsland for that evening pick me up. Thank you to all of you who made me feel very special this evening. Your service tonight was exactly what I needed. ?❀️ Head on down guys!!!

Wonderful and cosy place for a cup of hot chocolate and desserts. Their chocolate 'mess' drinks are fantastic! The place may look small from the outside but there is more space around the back.

It’s nice to know that there’s a coffee shop that’s open until 1 AM. Handy for night nurses who wants to have their iced coffee fix and a last minute farewell cake. Their iced mocha tasted so good ? The cake looked amazing and was delicious too. Their brownies was placed in a lovey box too. Glad we found them in ubereats. ☺️

The best place for desserts, absolutely yummy. Good balance between sweetness and taste especially the tropical cake. I usually go for the smores hot chocolate every time, never disappointed. Hidden gem

A small but great place for dessert and beverages. The hot chocolate is delicious and so are the delectable desserts. The staff were helpful and efficient with answering our questions as it was our first visit. Decadent desserts which you can purchase to go.

I really like the fact that they are open till late for when I make last minute coffee plans. My coffee was absolutely on point and the guy who took my order was great. This place has a very relaxed and retro vibe. Super cozy and comfy. I would imagine them to be super busy in winter or during valentine season.

We visited recently as a group of 11 wanting to have a late night desert. Elisabeth's Chef was one of a few places open later in the night which was really great. The place was well decorated and had a nice rustic ambience to it, and whilst the food selection was gravely limited when we visited, we enjoyed what we ate and drank from what was available so quality and taste wise; very good! The highlight for the group were the signature hot chocolates which this place is known for - specifically the Aztec spiced one which was really unique and delicious - highly recommend trying this! The only disappointing part of our evening was the fact that the staff were not friendly. They weren't necessarily rude, but there was no smile or effort to make the customer feel welcome either. Perhaps they were tired after a long day? Regardless, we were also told we couldn't sit inside in the main area where the bulk of the seating was and could only sit by the toilets further out back which barely fit 6 people - splitting up the group. It was only when we questioned staff on this decision where they eventually changed their minds and permitted us to sit at their normal tables - an unfortunate and unnecessary experience. Whilst we enjoyed the evening, it was also cut short as we were asked to leave as per their dining-in policy. Whilst there were inconspicuous signs around that we later discovered that state that your visit should be limited to under an hour, in our case there were no other customers wanting seating at the time, and with all the food and drinks we had purchased, one would have assumed that customer service takes precedence over policy. Again whilst the staff were not rude about this, it did feel like they were anxious to have us stick to this policy and leave, so we reluctantly packed up and left, continuing our discussions whilst standing outside in the cold for the next hour which was unfortunate. May I suggest informing customers verbally as they are ordering to ensure this policy is known beforehand... All in all a good experience, but definitely room for improvement in the customer service department.

We came by to grab something sweet after dinner. They were only doing takeaway with a small table outside. We were able to drink on the road outside. I had the salted caramel hot chocolate and you could taste the salted caramel without it being overly sweet. My friend got the S'more one and it looked quite nice but the toasted marshmallow got stuck inside the paper bag. It was a really tasty hot chocolate and I would be very keen on trying their desserts when they open up properly again.
