Until some homeless people had to tent out there. And that is not okay. My poor son had to witness this. I would of helped them if i had extra finances ..however ive noticed even the rich dont want to help.. selfishness breeds on the NORTHSHORE. AMEN.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little play ground. Never busy when I go. Lots of birds to spot... Tui, kereru etc. Is on a bit of a slope so if you want your kids to chase a ball it's ideal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent hidden kids park and field/reserve, just down the road from Manuka Takeaways, a excellent fish and chip shop. two full playgrounds for toddlers and older, swings , see-saws, seating all around, a big grassy field, a goal / points basket, trees and shaded areas.plus a view of a tennis club / court.
A Great place to have a picnic or Bbq and bring all the whanau,quietly tucked away and not as busy as the other local parks.usually clean and tidy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely hidden park with a fantastic playground. Plenty of activities and a big effort has been made to provide a beautiful space, with native plantings and a fairly large shaded area on the grass. The playground is clean and tidy and has a rubbish bin.
This reserve backs on to the tennis court.
Only downsides is there isn't an obvious toilet that I could see and while there is on-street parking there isn't a huge amount so may have to walk a few minutes from your car. No wheelchair access although might be able to take the path by the tennis court. Last photo shows quick walk over the grass to the playground.
Overall a great playground park.
