★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a highly informative class. Lou and Arlene covered all the basics of a traditional antenatal class as well as many other topics that wouldn't normally be covered. They were extremely responsive and spent a long time answering questions and tailoring the classes to our specific needs and requests.
One does not have to be a member of the LGBTQIA+ community to benefit from this class, as it was designed to be open to all parenting styles. We also enjoyed Lou's extreme commitment to science based advice and the many studies they seemed to be able to quote on the spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lou did acupuncture on me in the weeks leading up to the birth of my first baby in 2020. We walked the in-between together waiting for my babe. Week by week we got closer to meeting him. I found Lou's acupuncture/ acupressure massage sessions always relieved my aches and pains and towards the end always got things going, I'd go for a walk straight after our sessions and have tightenings every time! The chats were always grounding and our sessions always a calming experience. I can still smell the clary sage to this day as I remember back to these session. Lou was present during my labour providing acupuncture and acupressure, I found HUGE relief from their expertise, my partner even learnt some tips and tricks from Lou which were incredibly useful. Highly highly rate EMPWR. I've met with Arlene on occasion and always found her to be incredibly warm, approachable and professional. Empwr are a HUGE wealth of knowledge and an absolute must for your pregnancy/ birth and postnatal needs.
