β β β β β Great little local market three or four choices of organic veggies or spray free veggies from community gardens. Brilliant eggs, Italian style cheeses made in NZ. Fruits fill your own organic milk, good little snacks even a Japanese food truck!
Well worth while the detour to stock up on your food goodies.

β β β β β Such a wonderful market, everyone is smiling, veggies and fruit galore, juices, cheese, avocados, jams, reusable items, breads and cakes, even seedlings and veggies to grow in your own garden!!!! And coffee round the corner! What else can we ask for !

β β β β β Very disappointing experience. One of the outside stall charges his customers twice. For the fruits he sells and for the container (plastic bowls) he supplies and keep. I have asked him to weight his plastic bowl empty and that came to 240 grs. The customer pays what is weighted, charged 9 dollars per kilo.. and that includes the 240 grs for the plastic bowl which remains at the stall. Thats over 2 dollars overcharge by customer... I confronted the stall owner and he said he discounted 20 cents towards the container!!! Bad maths and a rip off.
I have to add to my review that I have complained to the market management and the result is far from satisfatory. The STALL OWNER has denied deducting 10 c toward the containers weight. He claims he had deducted 1 dollars.... and the management beleives him.... Nothing was said about the thousand of dollars he has done on his customers back in the past. The seller called Rufus carries on weighing the fruits and vegerable together and business is back as usual. VERY DISHONEST APPROACH AND BAD BAD CUSTOMER'S service where the customer seems to be always WRONG. I will recommend everybody to go and shop somewhere else as the practices of that market are very very DODGY.

β β β β β Great place for fresh vege, especially the George's garden hidden at the back of the market. Warning: Market starts at 8:30am but queue at George starts at 8:15am!
