About EMS Electrical Services
Welcome to EMS Electrical Services, we offer our experience and expertise to clients in the industrial and commercial industries. We are automation technicians responsible for maintaining computer-controlled, automated systems that are designed to remove humans from the process, such as in robotic assembly, food processing, and other industrial applications.
As automation technicians, our responsibilities include checking systems and diagnosing and isolating problems by performing tests to then repair or replace parts. Other duties include installing upgrades and modifications as needed. We stay updated on the most cutting-edge technological developments in the industry and provide insight into improved processes where possible.
EMS Electrical Services also offer general electrical installations and maintenance on top of automation, examples of this include, interpreting writing and floor plans of industrial buildings and factories, fitting, repairing, and replacing electrical wiring and industrial equipment, conducting tests for electrical wiring and equipment to ensure safety and compliance. Recording all work completed and faults diagnosed, providing quotes over planned work to customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Liam showed up and did the install quickly. I had to ask him to come back as using the new outlet (for anything) caused the RCD to trip. He came back and simply bypassed the RCD (without giving a reason why it had started to trip), leaving me with no ground fault protection for that outlet, instead leaving me with “as long as you only weld from it you’ll be fine”. When my kids got home we realised both their rooms no longer had working outlets and Liam refused to come back. After paying another electrician the issues were quickly resolved. Logged a formal complaint about this electrician with the regulator.
Here is the report from the second electrician. I suggest you decide for yourself if you want to use this electrician:
"Inspect for RCD tripping fault after another electrician had installed a 16amp welding circuit. Noticed that the previous
electrician had bypassed the RCD to prevent it tripping. Found that the RCD that was supplying the welder and other sub
circuits was too small for the maximum demand of all of the circuits it was protecting. We also discovered that the busbar
was not correctly tightened at the circuit breaker supplying 2 bedrooms. Installed a 63A RCCB and ensured all terminals
within the switchboard were tight. Carried out RCD test at the welding outlet - passed. Welding circuit is now RCD protected."
