★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a fishing day on the water with Owen on “KAOS”. Owen was just awesome right from the start catching bait fish in the bay & then carrying on out past the Mercs to Curvie Island. Landing kingfish & snapper. He had all spots covered. Just a great day with a real top bloke, well organised & with nothing being too difficult for him.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've done a lot of charters here and abroad and Epic are unrivalled. I just had my eighth Epic Adventure and once again I cannot fault the gear, the boats, the skippers (Owen is the man), and the dedication to landing great fish. Do it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked on Epic from Whitianga and choose Epic as the most experienced skipper. Arrived and found out my booking was changed to the Koroking. Boys were good and did their best but should have known we were going to struggle when the skipper is seasick. Caught a couple of undersized Kingfish and two snapper for the bin so we did not go home hungry. It is called fishing not catching so I know this is part of the deal. It was still a good day on the water, saw Sharks, a Mantaray and Flying Fish and the weather was mint.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Epic trip. Skipper on point with a helpful attitude. We ran with it and hooked into the Kings! Nothing huge but enough for the the table. Also, Owen the captain wasn't too stressed about covering ground and we were rewarded with a little hapuku action out wide. Great to see the Mercury Island chain on the way past too and plenty of snapper.
Thanks for the post lockdown cobweb clear out. Mean as.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best charter all of us have been on. Skipper Owen on Kaos was incredible helping the boys land some good kings and making it a day that we wont forget. Couldnt recommend Owen and Epic charters enough, will be back onboard in the future!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Owen was our skipper, he was very knowledgeable, we pulled in some big kingies, Owen was so very helpful. We felt like kings not having to do anything apart from pull the fish in . have recommended to our friends and cant wait to do it again .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Liam & Darius were the hosts/boatsmen for our trip, awesome hosts and put us on great spots for an action filled day.
We had first time anglers catching fish that some seasoned fishers won't catch in their life-time.
Whatever you are looking for; If you are mad keen on fishing/if you have never fished before, or you want to make a birthday/work event different - Epic make it easy, fun and exciting the whole day; This is a bucket list type charter that everyone will remember. Cheers boys!
