★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience with an Awesome Skipper - Mitch. We had a memorable fishing experience with Smokin Reels this Decemeber 2018. Hannah is super helpful with our booking arrangement and very accommodating despite of the weather conditions. Mitch is superb for his great customer service and positive attitude throughout the trip. We'll definitely book again when we come to Coromandel. Highly recommended! Don't feel sad if you head back early because you already caught all the fish you need for the day. LoL.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After being let down by another company to which we had booked a couple of months ago, we booked with Smokin Reels. From the onset, Dave was just fantastic. There were 3 of us in our group, and another group of 4. Dave went out of his way to ensure we had a good day's catch. On the boat he was very helpful, and looked after everyone on board. We will be back next year and only one company we will be looking to charter. See you next year Dave!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic fishing charter. Came up from Christchurch with some inexperienced fishermen and women, short notice and questionable weather forcasted. Dave the skipper went above and beyond to accomadate us and get us on some fish, and go home with a good feed. Had my 6 year old son on board and Dave made him feel at home and made sure he got his first (of many) snapper. Highly recommend Smoking Reels to anglers of all skill levels and ages. Cheers Dave

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went fishing Dave on early January. Expectations were clear up front that fishing wasn't likely to be good that day given the circumstances. However, we had a decent morning of good fun. Dave was friendly, helpful and a highly experienced skipper. Very happy with our trip so thank you.
