β β β β β Great fun over the holidays espceially the prison one if you're feeling competitive. Customer service was fantastic Emma (?) was on to it and patient when we got stuck. Good for a rainy day.

β β β β β Friendly service and overall fun. However, escape room itself didn't have a ton of visual flare. Also, I would recommend choosing master mode even if you are unfamilar with escape rooms. First one I've done, and even I found medium wayyyy to easy. Also, the puzzles were pretty simple, mainly just combination locks and the like.

β β β β β visit'd a number of times done pretty much all of their rooms (mostly because my group kept getting the fastest times in each of the rooms)... some of their rooms are laughably easy (we cleared the pirate room in around 15 minutes), thankfully we DIDNT pay for this, otherwise i would have felt ripped off!
puzzles are either way to easy or frustratingly difficult (i.e. something hidden where you would absolutely not expect and no clues given. *SPOILER* like under the slats of a bed, in a room you dont have access to yet). Props feel cheap and one room we did (the serial killer room) the last room had not been reset, so literally ALL of the locked boxes and drawers were open, we did email to complain and got a free room, but i felt it spoiled what could have been a good experience.
my suggestion to them would be have more than 1 game master on at a time! having one person deal with many rooms and dozens of people isnt going to work (if my groups paying $150+ for an hour) i expect some attention to be paid to us (and the room has been fully reset from a previous team!)
Better quality / more robust props, making sure everything is reset!!
work on your atmosphere! music, sound effects, lighting, something! felt very sterile compared with other escape rooms in wellington.
1.5 stars in my opinion, rounded up because at least they offer free escape rooms if they mess up / you fly through the room and are the fastest time that month!
