β β β β β We had never tried an Escape Room before, so I was a bit hesitant as I wasn't sure how kid friendly it would be. It turns out all the Escape Mate rooms in Wellington are kid friendly though (they should promote they're not spooky/frightening). We had fun though needed A LOT of help to he successful which we got, but now we get the idea hopefully we'll do a bit better next time

β β β β β Super excellent. Lots of contraptions and puzzles to figure out.
The guy supervising chimed in to give us some hints if we missed anything at the right times so that we didn't get frustrated or bored which I appreciated.
And there is a door that can be used anytime to leave if you need a break or the bathroom which was helpful for one member of our group that was nervous about being locked in a room.
