★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Helpful staff. They understood gluten free needs. Steak sandwich was generous, tasty and presented beautifully, with a generous serving of potato chips. Mango smoothy was delicious. I would be happy to both recommend Espresso Garden Cafe and to go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been here 3 or 4 times now and has never disappointed. Their all day breakfast is one of the best I've had, and is excellent value. Only gripe would be the long waiting times when the place is busy. Seems to have a small kitchen in proportion to the number of available seats.

On a side note..while I was there an older lady customer had a problem with misplacing her wooden order number block.
All the counter staff were busy with other customers but a male Mitre 10 worker who was eating his lunch in the cafe as well, went in the kitchen to sort the issue for her. I was really impressed that even in his own free time, he was still helping Mitre 10 customers.. Good on you !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At best during the warmer months to provide for the advantages of outdoor garden-courtyard seating, this cafe nevertheless continues to offer exceptional value, cuisine, and service to indoor Winter diners. If there is a more delicious and better value 'All-day Breakfast' to be had in Canterbury, I am yet to discover it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was recommended to try ....coffee was ok but quite milky, not very strong. I had a keto waffle bacon and eggs which looked delicious in the cabinet but when it arrived had been microwaved so eggs were hard and waffle was tough and chewy. Husband's breaky was good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Never actually came in before but glad I did this time. $7 bowl of large fries was a lot bigger than expected and could easily be shared between 3 people and dam tasty to. Iced chocolates are to die for. Not to sweet they were just right and if happily go back just for them haha
