β β β β β Checkout lady was rude and unfriendly. I get it they are short staffed, but a smile, hello or some sort of welcome is preferred to a scowl or hostility. If you don't like going to work on a Sunday afternoon... change jobs!

β β β β β Plenty parking. Very large shop with plenty selection. I was purchasing paint. The colour charts were right near the paints for easy veiwing. I did look at the wrong chart becsuse it was right near the paints I was looking at. Then relieased it was the wrong brand. The right chart was there. Shelves were labeled so very easy to find the paint and colour I was after. Also, I noticed rechargable batteries at a good price going to the counter so, I bought a pack of 4 AA's which were not on my list. They were $19 something, at the supermarket they are $28 something. Fast yet polite checkout which was great.

β β β β β Packaging for locks do not clearly describe intended use. Staff helped in choosing a lock for an internal garage door, but when installed realised no keys were provided. Apparently the word 'privacy lock' on the packaging should have alerted us that this is intended as an internal toilet door only. It even appears to have a key slot in the lock. No wording on packaging to state "keyless door handle". Mitre 10 will not let us return the product. Misleading packaging and poor service.

β β β β β Poor customer service. Staff difficult to find. He kept rushing off and we kept trying to find him! We asked advice and he looked on the box for a solution... We could have done that ourselves! Woman at checkout was going to charge us incorrectly until we mentioned it. No thanks or goodbye. Very dissapointing.

β β β β β Poor customer experience, have a broken arm and no offer of assistance carrying two large boxes (heaters). No trolleys available at all. Listened to staff complain about customer orders whilst walking through the store talking to each other very audibly. Will just drive in to Papanui store next time.

β β β β β Unfortunately not much help today. Could not see any bromine tabs for spa pool and 3 staff members couldn't help. One went to enquire and never got back to me. Wanted to purchase some outdoor ferns (not pungas) but none in stock. Checkout lady was lovely, tried calling service desk but no answer. Rang her bell and supervisor came over then she left to find out about bromine. As this all took a while I just left. Was very quiet in-store

β β β β β After several phone calls about an order with no results including phone not answered or promised to get back to me. I called into store to discover order was never placed. This was two weeks after order was placed with bathroom dept Reorder was made then after a week I was told there was issues with the Warehouse supplying the stock. I was able to source it from Ferrymead store that same day who provided excellent service.
