About Eva Bradley Photography
Is it wrong to tell you that taking photos isn't actually what gets me out of bed in the morning? What I live for and what I love most about being a Hawke’s Bay photographer (and why I will still have my camera in one hand and a walking stick in the other) is that I get to be part of the moments that matter most to people. As a wedding and family portrait photographer predominantly, I get to contribute something small but important to the people I connect with.
As part of my commitment to creating memories that will be treasured long into the future, I focus on creating candid connections between people and emotional images that will always remind them how it felt to get married, become a parent, and be part of a family.
I honour the future as well as the present by editing and shooting in a classic, timeless style without filters. Every image is a unique artwork in my editing process, and I believe the colours of nature and your own palette should inform my editing rather than post-production formula based on today’s trends.

She managed to get incredible shots while being discreet, controlled the chaotic group when it was time to sort out the various group photos after the ceremony when people just wanted to mingle and drink champagne, as well as took us to an amazing location just down the road from Craggy Range that overlooked the vineyard while also making sure that the Te Mata peaks were in the shot as well (normally people go to the top of Te Mata for photos which to us is like going to Paris and taking photos on top of Eiffel Tower when realistically you want a photo of the tower itself).
Despite all the chaos of the wedding, she made us feel relaxed and there were two photographers so that one could catch the candid moments and one to get the more staged shots. She's been our favourite photographer to date and can't wait to see the final photos.

All such huge praise for the amazing work she was doing and all the thought she put into every single photo. Every time someone makes a comment we feel super proud to have had her as our photographer. As soon as Patrick proposed (literally hours after he got on one knee) I said I want Eva Bradley as the photographer. I had followed her work for years and knew that when my time came to get married I would HAVE to have her so I was prepared to organise my date around what suited her.
With the sneak peaks she sent through, it just validated/reinforced my love for her art. And oh my god she did not disappoint with the final products. They are all stunning.
