★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very much a worthwhile walk. Children friendly as it follows the coastline. Great views from the lighthouse. Approximately 3-4 hours if you're sauntering.

although very windy it is a great get away. plenty of comfy beds and our grandson(3 1/2) was intrigued with the hot water bottles. the walk up to lighthouse is onky 100 steps but it can get very windy. we had to carry grandson as he got blown over. two hammocks in a sheltered area was a great time of peace and quiet. lots of history so take your time driving in. loved every minute.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Apart from the fact the doc sign says 8 hours return when we cruised its at 3 hours return including stopping for photos and time at the light house I'd say this is one of Marlboroughs best kept secrets..loved it and nxt time might try the 4wd option ?
