★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A haven of peace and beauty so close to the city. There are still several headstones of early Nelson settlers. Close to Fairfield House, Melrose House and walking tracks up the Grampions. A popular area to live as well as the college's are close by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow a park with gravestones-Whats not to love? I'm just kidding this park is beautiful, A living graveyard is what I'd call it and I'm not talking Zombies! With the lovely bird calls and native flora and fauna I could have spent all day here...Just a gorgeous, Gorgeous place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very peaceful, tranquil park, ideal for a picnic on a sunny day. Walking around the grounds there are plenty of historical things to look at as this place is steeped in Nelson history. Also there is a small playground for the kids to play in.
