★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful little walk which runs from the Maitai Valley right to the sea and onto tahunanui and beyond, if your keen. Goes past Cafes, the Public Library, Burger King, Countdown Supermarket, Skate Park and very close to the City Centre. Plenty of seats and great views.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a well-developed and pretty walkway along the river in Nelson. It is treasured by the locals who walk their dogs, jog, stroll, bike and skateboard along its length. and/or dine and lunch in leisurely style at the cafes strategically scattered along its banks.
