Welcome to Farm Friends,
Farm Friends has been providing authentic real-life experiences for up to 36 children per day, between the ages of two - five since 1997. In all weather, children explore our 10-acre section that is blessed with a wide variety of natural playscapes. Including our forest, creeks, farm and many more beautiful opportunities to develop a strong and secure relationship with papatuanuku (earth mother).

Farm friends is a place where children are entitled to autonomy, leading their curriculum with the support of their kaiako (teachers) as they embark on authentic experiences that support their natural urges, discovering through play who they are and finding their place in the world around them.

β β β β β I just want to say Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your help and support with Saskias wellbeing. Since Saskia has been part of Farm Friends daycare, she has become a confident and bubbly little girl. She comes home with so many stories to tell, she has become so vocal and the inthusiasm in her words and action are just incredible. It makes me so happy knowing that I chose the perfect daycare. I would highly recommend this daycare to any parent out there. Thank you once again for taking care of my darling girl. Forever grateful

β β β β β Sending our daughter to this Centre was one of the best decisions in our lives. No other childhood centre we went to is that close to nature, which we consider is crucial for kids in a preschool age. Kids are given the real opportunity to explore, experenice and learn. And I have the utmost trust in our teachers. I wish I was a kid, so I could attend it.

β β β β β Farm Friends has been amazing at transitioning both of my kids in to the centre! Drop offs are now a delight (previously at least one of them cried) and they absolute love being there! The teachers tell me about their day without asking and the kids love talking about the hikois (walks) they've been on that day. Absolutely recommend :-)

β β β β β Farm friends is so amazing. I canβt rave about them enough. My girls been there since she just turned 3. We actually moved her to a daycare closer to us in helensville and moved her back to farm friends as they are so good and She missed it there so much. The teachers are so caring and understanding of each childβs needs. Thereβs plenty of outside time they go on walks almost everyday around the farm. My girl loves her teachers so much there. I love it because it allows them to take risks safely. They play outside in all kinds of weather in fact I rarely think She spends any time inside
Rhiannon and Hope are great leaders and all the teachers are just so caring and kind. Iβve never had any problems leaving Her there, sheβs straight in there. They use the environment/nature as a teacher. I looked into a variety of ECEβs when I was looking but absolutely nothing compares to farm friends it really is amazing!

β β β β β My son has been at Farm Friends for nearly 2 years and it has become his home away from home. He just loves it and the teachers are so kind and caring. Every day he gets to enjoy adventures in nature - rain or shine! Raising and caring for animals, outdoor play with bon fires and messy mud slides are such a wonderful way for kids to live and learn.
