Henderson Valley Private Kindergarten is a family-owned and operated kindergarten located in the tranquil Henderson Valley scenic reserve. We cater for children from 18 months old and have large purpose-built areas available both indoors and outside in our location in the Waitakere foothills.

Henderson Valley Private Kindergarten is a family-owned and operated kindergarten located in the tranquil Henderson Valley scenic reserve, far removed from noise and pollution.
It was established in 2010 as the second of two kindergartens owned by Norman and Jennifer; the original centre in Titirangi has been running for over 30 years. Our rural-based childcare in Henderson Valley offers a unique experience for children to receive quality education and care in a spacious, thoughtfully designed facility. Children also have the opportunity to engage with the natural world that our location affords us. Hands-on experience with animals is a fantastic aspect of our kindy’s location and provides great learning. This exposure has been shown to have a direct, beneficial influence on children’s cognitive and physical development.
We teach children from 18 months old, taking advantage of the natural environment to provide a well-rounded early childhood education in Henderson Valley.
Operating times are 8.30 am to 3.30 pm Monday to Friday. Part-day sessions are available.
