Elaboration:
- Friendly: smiles, greets/thanks you, no problems when asking where items.
- Informative: clear directions to where to find items. If paying for most items, the calculation is broken down and explained in full which ensured I understood why the total is why it is and how it got to that amount. Informed of the difference between receipts given.
- Proactive and helpful: Can see I go to the counter so the nearest staff comes straight to the front desk to serve me, another staff said "I'll carry that to your car" when I had a 20kg bag of wheat for my ?s.
- Great value:
Useful items like Poly Scoops & feed Scoops can be used on more than one thing in more than one environment and the price is reasonable based on the sturdy and tough material and usefulness of the item.
Chicken feed was great value at $18.22 - 91 cents (used Farmlands card so I'm guessing that is why I received a discount or the item was on sale that day) whereas for half the amount at the supermarket (10kg) I would pay $11.89 for the wheat and it costs more per 100g compared to Farmland's and even though I is about $6 something cheaper the Farmlands wheat is better value getting more which works out to less per 100g and in total versus 2x 10kg at Countdown for example.
Overall fantastic service, awesome staff & I'll be back for more chicken feed for my chickens in the future ?. I couldn't be happier ?.

I'd like to share a really positive and first up experience with an amazingly helpful assistant in the Blenheim store yesterday.
Having unsuccessfully tried to buy grass seed from competitor Bunnings across the road, while parked in my car in the same area & on the spur of the moment I looked at theFarmlands website, found the product I wanted and called the store.
Having explained that I was wasn't an existing customer the salesperson I dealt with (apologies, I cannot remember her name) could not have been more helpful.
Literally within a few minutes I had ordered, paid for and the collected the bag of grass seed. All within the strict provisions of 'click and collect' under Level 3.
Farmlands now have a new customer - thanks so very much
