β β β β β Cute place, but too stuffy - no good ventilation.
Ordered Hae Mul (Hot & Spicy Seafood) and got food poisoning, I was bed-ridden for 4 days after eating here (this meal was cooked by staff, not the self-BBQ option). Don't recommend.

β β β β β Booked for 4 people and asked for a nicer seating which they provided, 5 stars for that. Only problem is we have to wait for the a staff to come by as we don't have a push button to catch their attention if we want to order more food. A screen would be really great for privacy as the other big group accidentally threw the meat to our table (awkward).

β β β β β Loved the decor and atmosphere at the restaurant but a few disappointing factors. Even though the food was decent, it was definitely overpriced. We had ordered three main meals but only given one serving of the six side dishes. When we asked for refills they only gave us one and said would charge us for further. Sat there for 15 mins before being offered any water as well. The service was sub-par. I think this place does have its perks such as the central location and reasonably tasting food but there is room for improvement!

β β β β β New city adventures tonight with Wifey ?
.
We roamed around looking for something that looks yummy and came across this Korean restaurant. I think it's known for the kbbq but we went in for their other non-bbq dishes ??
.
We ordered:
β’ Raw beef tartare - marinate raw beef strips served with sliced pear and egg yolk
β’ Spicy Tofu stew with beef
β’ Cold Chilli Noodle βοΈ
.
It comes with rice and a set of 6 side dishes. It was all really yummy, so much so that i can't pick my favorite lol. The raw beef was really good - it's been really long since I've had one this good. The tofu stew was super flavorsome too ??
.
Great random find! ?

β β β β β I was very disappointed when ordering Faro from uber eat. This pork belly dish is $41 as you can see it's not worth it. I know uber eats will cut % from your total bill so you raised the price, but this is an exorbitant price. I usually visit Faro and enjoy the food here, maybe I should come to the restaurant next time instead of order it online

β β β β β Full of Koreans, so you know this tastes like home, or at least similar. Not a big menu, unlike most Korean places of similar format, which is great - smaller menu means bigger focus on quality and getting what you offer just right.
We had the fried dumplings, which were probably the best Iβve had in Auckland.
We also got Cold Noodle Soup, amazing with extra kimchi, mustard and vinegar. The soup is simple in itself but the broth was full of flavour and refreshing and noodles delicious, although a little sticky.
The lights are dim and thereβs slight haze from people cooking on the gas stoves, which adds to atmosphere.
Overall totally love it except the staff can be a bit more customer focused, they look like they are there to just clear dirty plates.
