★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came across this massage place thanks to a coupon. And I am very happy I did. The staff is super friendly and they have a good price if you sign for the VIP membership (almost the same as the coupon). I recommend to try the massage with Julie, but if she is too gentile you may want to try with one of the other girls.
They are very honest and take good care of you (I had an injury). I been a member since almost a year and I keep on going regularly. Really good quality relaxing massage!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This places often provides cheap and discount massages on GrabOne. For $35/45 (Don't remember), you get a 60 min massage. Which is a steal considering most places charge $1-1.5 per min.
That said, you get what you pay for. Quality wise is like a spin in the wheel. If you're lucky, you get someone good. If you're not, the massage is still a massage.
Been there 3-4 times, over the course of 6 months. Never once have I seen a masseur more than twice. Most of them seem to be young adults or something like students in training.
Would recommend if you're new to getting massage, or would really just need something cheap. If you're willing to splurge, try some other place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just a headsup; when you book a couples massage, you can be put in 2 single rooms. We didn't feel welcome, maybe because we wanted to redeem a voucher and we wanted the double room for a couples massage?
You won't understand what they are saying, since most of the time they don't speak English. They don't have doors, just a curtain. We could hear the conversation in the other room loud and clear. Not worth my time...

Definitely not a qualified masseuse, the girl training just proded my body for the hour with one hand, even once in the massage I felt her sit on the table while she prodded away. Paid extra Money for the oil massage and 90% of massage was massaged through towel... Did not massage front of body...Overall bad experience and did not offer a refund for massage or an offer of another massage. Owner did give me an extra 10 minutes on back and that was great. If booking, ask for owner to massage you not the trainee!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ficus Bodywork has to be the best value massage in Auckland. It’s no frills, you have to spend $10 extra to get the aromatherapy oil (which I think is necessary) but still works out great value if you want a budget massage that helps the knots aches and pains. Don’t expect a $150 premium quality massage here, it’s not that: it’s not flash, you might hear people talking and the phone ringing while you’re being worked on, so it’s not a wedding anniversary celebration place. But I love going there to get the job done when I have a sore back and muscle aches. The team are very good and I don’t know how they can do this at such a low price, but they do and I’m very grateful.
