First Property Legal is a division of Gawith Burridge and all services are supported by the existing Gawith Burridge practice.

Gawith Burridge is Wairarapa’s largest law firm operating continuously since 1875. The partners of both Gawith Burridge and First Property Legal are Adam Parker, Debbie van Zyl, Kylie Moore and Michelle Williams. For South Wairarapa clients we are able to use the Gawith Burridge branch office in Martinborough. To arrange for client documentation to be signed, this office is open Monday-Thursday and by appointment.

They are always on the case and they keep in contact at all times. They are down-to-earth and helpful. With them I know that things will be smoothly handed with the Bank. - if not I would be first to know. When either of them is out of office they are all good to jump in and help. Most important of all, they leave their ego's at home every day and they do not make issues out of nothing - they are very professional in that sense. They get the job done which helps me to get my job done and get people into houses. Where there are special circumstances and extra work is required, they normally do this within the fixed fee. Great work.

When I initially talked to lawyers about selling my house they told me that first property would be dealing with and Alana came across the road to meet me and give me details. I didn't have to run around and find places. 3 short visits. All documentation e mailed to me to make sure I had it and did I need to have any questions that needed answering. Awesome. All sorted and Gawith will be handling the purchase. Taylor at Gawith made sure I had wills. Power of attorneys all sorted. Very quickly there were many moving parts involving many people, Alana brought everything together with settlements of both properties on the same day so that we could carry across our great interest rate with the bank. I can’t thank her enough for making everything run smoothly. 4 weeks after first walking into her office we were in our new home and with no stress.
