A very popular dinner (only) place so, if possible, make a reservation. We were lucky to fet a table for two without a reservation but were told we'd need to vacate 75 minutes later.
Filly Fully licensed restaurant + fish and chips on-the-wharf style dining.
Wine selection satisfactory although a somewhat limited by-the-glass selection of wines.
Next time we'll book ahead if we can (bearing in mind the venue doesn't open until 5pm).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place and great food. Solid wine list with not a huge range but most palates would be pleased.
Kids menu was flexible. Adults menu was seasonal and delicious. Loved the attentive and friendly service. Would certainly come back again and again and again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic meal of beautifully fresh tarakihi. Despite being clearly short staffed, service was efficient and very friendly. A range of gluten free options as the chef has celiac and caters for this with a range of options.
I will definitely be back next time we holiday at Ohope. I can imagine visiting on a summer evening and being able to sit and look over Ohiwa Harbour would be stunning.

Food was flavourful and good drinks to match, APA supercharger is a good pick.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was in town looking for oysters and their website was the first to come up. When I arrived they did not have any oysters in stock nor on the lunch menu. Granted, this was a Sunday. The staff were excellent and very helpful in providing potential places for said oysters ? food was good and drinks came very fast. Thank you for having us

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is fresh and tasty. I've always had a good table. Good selection of land, sea and air, I've had the beef and the seafood platter and plan to go back (even though I live 90km away!). The staff are always helpful and the service is quick. Excellent find. Recommended.

You need to book well in advance and don’t expect a quick dining experience. This is a very busy establishment for good reason. And to top it off this is the view from the outdoor dining area
