Great place to unwind and for a quiet lunch break.
Stunning views and also of Mnt. Wellington.
There is a boat launch area and jetty .
Well worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not too bad a spot for land-based fisherman,just somewhere to get some practice in and not too far from home can catch the occasional biggy here but don't expect a kingy or a monster snap not a very big channel,good to get the kid's out to practice their cast??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean enclosed space where dogs can run off leash. Table and chairs, can also see the clubs practice Waka Ama/rowing. Wharf but no pontoon with more open space further along. Water looks beautiful on a sunny day, nice views all along here. Wheelchair access.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In the corner of Panama road and Bernard Street is this small reserve. Its has a playground and tables as well as a basketball court. Very cool and breezy. Good outdoor place for the family
