β β β β β The best takeaways, always a crowd pleaser for the flat! The owners are super lovely and theyβve done an incredible job juggling safe service throughout lockdowns and covid restrictions. Canβt go wrong with fish and chips on the beach, the best sweet and sour pork or fried noodles, and the online ordering system is so convenient, highly recommend!

β β β β β Often travel from Three Kings to Flying Horse to get our Chinese fix and it's always worth the drive! Have had a bit of everything on the menu and would definitely recommend the sweet and sour chicken/fish. Have recently become vegeterian and it's great I still get to enjoy their food as they have so many veggie options ? customer service is always great when I visit, you can tell that they genuinely care about their customers

β β β β β Best takeaways by a long shot! Our favourites are the chicken fried rice, and combination chow mein! But there are so many other good items on the menu. The hot chips are always amazing! And the customer service is outstanding!

β β β β β As a brit in Auckland, bravo! closest thing to a chinese takeaway in the UK. chips with curry sauce, sweet & sour chicken balls and the best noodles! Highly recommend! Great service and I will be making the hour trip back here.

β β β β β Highly highly recommend!!! Every time we frequent Flying Horse, we are never disappointed. The kai is always delicious & full of flavor, can highly recommend the Special Fried Rice & the Sweet & Sour Pork ??? & not to mention the staff are always so welcoming & friendly! We love making the drive from west Auckland to see our friends at Flying Horse!

β β β β β Personally I believe this is the best Chinese takeaway store. Ordered here for multiple times, and food is always awesome! Black pepper and steak, fried rice, noodlesβ¦ everything is great. (At least for the food I ordered so far) Staff is always friendly and lovely.
Most of the food is reasonable price, but dim sum (such as prawn dumplings) is relatively pricey although itβs understandable price.
You can order online as well, which makes it easier to give it a go. Definitely recommend and will go again for sure!

β β β β β Ordered Steak and Bacon burgers and steak and egg burger. Was very disappointed. When previously purchased these a few years back, they came with a meat pattie, tomato, onion, lettuce and a piece of steak, from what I remember. Was so nice... we decided to treat ourselves. Advertised on their website as containing Scotch Fillet. Tonightβs burgers were lettuce, what appeared to be thin schnitzel meat and an egg or piece of bacon, nothing else!
Super disappointing taste wise and to top it off my egg had a large piece of shell in it.
