Of course this is definitely not like my all time love 928 Dominion Road "where has already gone"
Pearl Garden absolutely my new love in the Central auckland.
I love the way how they demonstrate the old Cantonese authenticity including the table wears.
Business is so packed! No reservations no tables.

โ โ โ โ โ Very good food, dumplings are bigger sized, with a good variety. Restaurant was full day we went and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. We booked ahead which I recommend you do especially on weekends. Nice green tea too.

โ โ โ โ โ Yeah it was ok, I like that itโs a bit smaller than many similar restaurants so feels a little more intimate and the decor helped created a decent vibe.
The food however, was just average. Not bad, not amazing. Some dishes came out lukewarm and didnโt have a strong flavour but I did really enjoy the shumai, that was one of the better shumai Iโve had in Auckland.

โ โ โ โ โ Good yum cha place. Quite tasty and they have a good selection of yumcha here. No cart, you write in the paper to order. No photo on the menu, so it may be a bit difficult to order for people who is not used to yum cha. Chili oil and tea felt a bit bland.

โ โ โ โ โ Love this place. As soon as we came out of locksdown, we book this place and we triple check to make sure we did not make a mistake on our booking!
If you love steam stuff on yum char, this place offer great food with good pricing. I love their beef ribs, chicken feet, siomay, prawn dumpling.. wait, I actually love all of their food!!!!!
It is full of flavour!

โ โ โ โ โ Decent Yumcha place, had all your usuals :) not sure if it was because of COVID, but no trolleys and had to order on paper. All good came out at once which filled our table quite quickly and made it difficult to manage plates in and out . Decent priced

โ โ โ โ โ Had yum cha here not too long ago. There was a crowd but not overly crowded. Sitting arrangement was good and spacious. It was comfortable. Service was as expected. We enjoyed the food. It was a good place for yum cha. If you are keen on yum cha you may like to pay this restaurant a visit.

โ โ โ โ โ Great place for yum char. The food is prepared well, is of good quality and tastes good. You order the food on paper rather than the trolleys coming around which is an excellent idea, then there's no pressure to order and the food is fresher.
Customer service is excellent.
Prices are slightly high, but that's expected with the high cost of running a restaurant in Auckland.
Well worth going back to.
