I rather pay few dollars more than stay at this place again. I tried the dormitory. It was old and dirty. The bed is not bad and if you are a tall person you will fit. Most of the shared showers are not working or cold. The kitchen is OK. Really depressing environment.

Really grim! Very cheap, so I wasn't expecting much, but this is a truly horrifying place to stay.

I honestly cannot convey the feeling of staying in this hostel. It feels dark and cringy I would only recommend a stay of a night in emergencies. The reception is beautiful but that where it ends. There where signs of upgrading work but i dont believe it will go far enough Nothing more to say

What a disgusting excuse for a hostel! When I booked I didn’t expect much but what I found when I arrived was disappointing - Mold in bathroom and the bathroom just generally needing a deep clean - blankets smelt terrible - pillows were yellow and brought second hand from Salvation Army (the price tag of $5 was still left on them) -extremely loud you can hear every move that the person next door made - stupid glass panel above door that lets in a lot of light making it difficult to sleep - bathroom was the size of a wardrobe The hostel felt more like a prison it was dark and depressing. A lot of effort was put into making the front entrance but that’s about as far as effort goes. The tvs were also out of order and no one told me where to find the kitchen etc There was no spa I’d recommend sleeping on the side of the road on queen street over paying a cent for this hostel atleast queen street would probably be more hygienic I left a day early as I couldn’t handle it any longer.

PLEASE READ - WORST ACCOMMODATION EVER! I WISH I could give this place no stars. Their customer service is appauling! I am shocked with how we were treated and would rather stay anywhere else. My partner and I had booked to stay here for two nights. On the last day we checked out at 10am and asked if we could leave our bags behind the counter to come and collect later. The issue is, you cannot enter the building unless you have a key card, and as we were checked out we didn’t have one. But as this is standard there is always someone there to let you in. We returned when we were ready to leave and no one was there. We rung and rung the doorbell for 30 minutes… We tried to call their phone but… wait for it… they have NO working number. We proceeded to wait longer another half an hour and MISSED OUR FLIGHT. All our luggage, belongings and keys were in there. Once someone came down they said they were upstairs. We had to pay $200 to rebook our missed flights for the next day and asked if we could have a free night. The lady offered to pay but we said no. She gave us the key card and let us have a free night. We were approached later by another man who asked us to pay. we explained what happened and said we either stay here for free or will find somewhere else. We were HAPPY to go anywhere else if they didn’t want a free night. We were not staying there or forcing ourselves there. The man said he will see what he can do. The next day we checked out. The first girl (who’s fault it was to begin with) was there and said nothing. They later proceeded to CHARGE MY CARD!! we approached the manager and turns out the girl LIED!! and said we were just going to pay and that it wasn’t her fault. And the manager basically said we have to pay. she said she can check the security footage to see if our story is right, that we waited, and waited, and rung (We were on the phone with 105 as we were so desperate) and then confirm also the man talking to us. we gave her ALL the times. Yet we have heard nothing. it has been ages since our stay, no contact, no refund. AWFUL Not to mention unfriendly staff, awful quality rooms, awful place in general. Please spend your money somewhere else x

This place is genuinely disgusting, believe me when I paid $50 I was expecting nothing fancy but I was at least expecting a room without mold and blood stains??????? You have to leave the shower running for 10 minutes before it gets warm which isn't too bad but a bit annoying, the staff are decently friendly but never at the desk and the place is super run down and creepy, pay the extra $10 and stay elsewhere please.

Honestly my standards were low considering the price point. My expectations were low but I’m truly baffled by how this place is legally able to exist from a health standpoint. There was a punch hole in the wall, mould on the ceiling, in the bathroom, dirty walls covered with scuff marks, the pillows were stained brown and yellow. But the worst part was the sewage scent in the room. The service was appalling from start to finish. We had to knock on the service room to find someone to check us in. When we bought up all the issues of the room to the man at reception the simply replied β€œhave you tried air freshener” I’m still truly baffled. He refused to provide any help and instead stared blankly at me for about 20-30 seconds. Would strongly strongly recommend against booking here when there are other hostels at similar price points in the same vicinity.

I just checked in last night. Room is very clean. However, the room is a bit claustrophobic. There are no windows. The sink is almost non-existent in the bathroom. I cannot even get some hot water for a cup of tea. One can barely move in the shower. Anyway, I have to make do with it for the next 2 nights. The only plus was, I had a good night sleep and the hostel is centric.
