The trails rule, the staff are awesome and the vibe is welcoming. The swimming spot across from the park is the icing on the cake. This is a must ride spot in New Zealand.

Came up from Palmerston North on a business / holiday trip and had the opportunity to ride some of the new trails before opening day. Below is a summary of my experience: Trails - pretty much all DH tracks with a majority of G3 and G4. I didn't get to try the new uphill trail (Anti Gravity) and opted to buy a 6 shuttle pass for approx $50. Worth it as it takes a solid 10mins via shuttle and the elevation is intense on some of the climbs. I'd have to say that Pink Stoat + Low Carb /High Fat were my faves with Chinese Laundry, Ohakune and Low Pressure close in second. Must come back to do the rest. Carpark / Hub - Large and spacious with chipped gravel. Heaps of room to move and the one way ring road system is easy to navigate. The main Hub consists of a onsite mechanic area, reception desk where you can purchase shuttle passes and gear from the shelf (limited stock on show). Staff - Friendly, professional and helpful. On my 4th run I'd lost my car key (in the hub park) and after a stressful 2hrs looking in certain places one of the shuttle drivers found it! Super thankful to the team for offering to look and to the other MTBers whom kept an eye out #gratitude

Fantastic gravity park that’s much closer than Rotorua with longer and better trails than Skyline. Trails are mostly machine built, but some techy single track too if that’s what you’re into. Can be slippy in the wet, but pretty great otherwise.

THIS PLACE ROCKS. I have been here 3 times now, for DH + Enduro racing + just having a blast. Nicole + the staff are awesome, they deal with the drama of running an event + it just works, it feels like a club field, its laid back and chill. The main thing is trails are excellent, perfectly formed and something new is happening all the time. As you would expect, Trailpro keep the tracks in good nick. Cheers 440 we will make the trek from the Naki many more times

Nice selection of trails, the tracks are well maintained. Wait time for shuttle service is not long, multiple shuttles running at once. Some nice flow trails with some being more technical. A bit expensive but worth it considering you get shuttled up and won’t waste your energy and time riding uphill. There is no cafe, so would recommend bringing your own lunch. Plenty of picnic tables to have a rest on.

Easily Auckland's best built trails. The same trail can be ridden by virtually any skill level rider. Rollovers become jumps as you get better. Staff are friendly. Never really need to wait very long for shuttles.

Such a well maintained bike park!!! Auckland doesn’t have the most exciting trails but thank goodness for 440 is not far away!!! Less than $10 per shuttle ride

First time riding here today. Its really efficiently run with very little wait time for the shuttle (yes this is pretty much a shuttle only bike park). Trails are professionally made, most are quite fast. Cross country riders might feel a little at odds here, but those wanting to blast down the trails with very little sitting on the seat or pedalling will love it. We had a 1/2 day pass for $59 and were pretty tired by the end of that.
