This is my second experience with poor takeaway service from fusion Gisborne
1st time I pre-ordered by phone as wait time can be quite long in this case 30 minutes.I arrive to collect my order following this time, to find my order hadn’t yet been placed let alone started.
And again today I’m told 15 minutes wait time I come back after this time wait 5 minutes more, the only other person in there’s order is served
I ask if mine is ready as had placed my order before the person who had just been served
I’m told an out and out fib that orders are prepared based on what is being ordered rather than when they are ordered ? I noted we where having pretty much the same thing, so I ask to cancel the order as it would take to much wait time at which point she asks the kitchen who inform her my order is ready and to check the heating bag this she does and gives me my order saying as I leave that I’m rude. Somebody is definitely rude, but I’m not sure it’s me.
On top of this I get home to find my wontons are not prawn as ordered but pork I don’t eat pork.
The food is wonderful (if you get what you’ve ordered) hats off to chefs and kitchen.
these events are levelled squarely at the surly counter girl.
I’ve been going here for ages because the food is really good as have been the serving staff up to just recently. Five stars for Food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is probably the best pork I've ever had, and top two chinese takeaways. The rice and noodles were perfectly cooked and very flavoursome. The meat was crispy where it should be, juicy and tender and the vegetables were all fresh. The cooking had that charcoal BBQ taste and each dish included a sauce or lime for seasoning. Absolutely amazing food, highly recommended.
