Read me A Story Grandad Created by Donald Paterson 2002 Commisioned by the Gisborne Art in Public Places Charitable Trust Donald Paterson (New Zealander, b.1955) Donald Paterson was born in Timaru, and developed an interest in art as a teenager. He has been producing sculpture on commission since 1993. His commissions have included awards for Air New Zealand, the NZRFU, and the Auckland Warriors. Other public sculptures by Paterson may be seen throughout Canterbury at the Fendalton Public Library in Christchurch, the Akaroa Harbouside Park in Akaroa, and the Old Harbour Site in Timaru.
