A bit about us
Our Kapiti/Porirua franchise is owned and operated by Mike and Lou Barke of M and L Barke Construction Ltd.
Mike has worked for G.J.’s for several years starting as a Sales Consultant. After performing highly, Mike progressed to lead the sales team as the Sales Manager. Prior to working for G.J.’s he owned and operated his own business and has 20 years of experience in management, sales and marketing.
Lou is a born and bred Wellingtonian with a Project Management background as well as 15 years of experience in marketing. Lou has experience across a number of industries including television, sports, event management, publishing, education and with local government.
Mike and Lou have always had a strong interest in the housing and construction industry and are very excited about the opportunity of becoming the new franchise owners for the Kapiti/Porirua region. Kapiti Coast, Porirua, Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt, Tawa and Wellington are just some of the areas that they build in.

Thay did not. Did followed up call two weeks later, thay said thay were sorry and someone would get back to me, 3 weeks later still waiting.

Twice we called to get some more info and to try to set up a meeting, twice we got told they would get back to us and they never did. They didn't seem interested in talking to us at all. In addition, one of the guys who was on the phone laughed at my partner's last name which seems incredibly immature.
