โ โ โ โ โ If you've heard the story about the king and the inception of the Galouti kebabs, you'd know it's something that comes from the palate of the Lucknow Royals out of hard times and the yearn for tasty food. Yogi does more than explain that beautifully to your taste buds with his kebabs. Good conversations and amazing kebabs, neither of which you'll find in other places. Should definitely try.

โ โ โ โ โ This is a new place thatโs opened up and every time I have been there, I have loved their food. The kebabs are to die for and the Nihari lamb is one of the best around. Great place for enjoying Indian cuisine on Queen street.

โ โ โ โ โ Undoubtedly the best meal I have had in a long long loooong time! Their Galouti kabab melts in your mouth and is undoubtedly as flavourful as it can get. The little rotis or Paratha and chutney that comes with it is perfect combination of a wholesome meal.
If you havenโt tried it yet, you are missing out.
Go and meet yogi! Heโs the better version of the one we have back home.

โ โ โ โ โ Hands down the best galouti kebab in whole of NZ. The chef is from lucknow and if youโre a fan of tundey kababi then youโll love it. Although lemonade was not on the menu, the chef was kind enough to make us one and it was awesome.

โ โ โ โ โ Thanks to the YouTube algorithm I've seen my fair share of indian cooking videos but none of them surpass the hospitality of galouti baba. Yogi is passionate about his cooking, his customers, and his customers satisfaction. At risk of generalising a cuisine for an entire country....I reckon this might be the best indian outside of India. There. I said it.
Prove me otherwise. Give it a shot.

โ โ โ โ โ As soon as the boxes were opened authentic aromas of Kebab stores in India hit us hard.
Purchased from this store for the first as a surprise for a friend and it didnโt fail to impress.
The chicken bites (which is chopped up tandoori chicken btw) was a bit dry. Jumping quickly to The hero product; the Galouti Kebab has intense flavour that just melts in your mouth. My friend made so much yum yum noises while eating every bite. Extra surprise was the soft soft roti that it comes along with, so good!
Would highly recommend to try this store.
The owner/chef Yogi is a charming man and is clearly very proud of the food he serves. I also appreciated his kindness when he came all the way out of the building to guide me to his store inside the foodcourt. Thanks to google maps it takes you up Wakefield street whereas the actual store (a food court) is inside a building NEXT to Nandos
Solid portions. Great packaging in strong boxes. Excellent customer service.

โ โ โ โ โ Amazing food..... I have been wanting to eat Indian style momos, Galouti Baba has these delicious chicken and paneer momos. I am definitely going again for another plate. Loved it. And I must also mention my favourite dish Galouti kebab which always bring happiness.
