We devoured the tempeh nuggets and the Me Goreng. So. Good. Highly recommend their version of the classic noodle dish!

β β β β β Excellent food and great service. Trying to cut back on rice so ordered the Lamb stew. It was well prepared and arrived at the table very quickly. Best of all, and without asking, they gave me some complimentary steamed veges to go with my meal. The Mie Goring is great and you MUST try the fried chicken.

β β β β β Tastes like real authentic Indonesian food, only place that could facilitate a table of almost 16 people, best to maybe call in as we were luckly it was raining outside we came in and there was seating for us.
I got the Mie Goreng chicken noodles / Kaafir Lime chicken and also their friend chicken is so good.

β β β β β If you are looking for authentic Indonesian cuisine in the coolest small capital in the world (aka Wellington), you should try Garuda Truck & Eatery. The place is neat, the food taste great, and the staff are helpful and hospitable. Walking distance from the Courtney place. Parking is via Street parking service of the city (you need to pay). I tried the lamb stew and it tasted so good. The Nasi Goreng is also one of our favourite.
