★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gazebo lookout is a hidden gem in Tairua, recently showcased in TVNZ show, Breakfast. The lookout point offers picturesque views of Tairua Harbour, Pauanui and Mt Paku. Access is available from State Highway 25, sign posted 'Lookout" up a flight of steps or drive to Ridge Road and a short walk across the grass will bring you to the same location. Photo taken is from a sunrise in late March.
