★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are not many places to go in Karori, but this one is definitely one not to miss out. Not only the take away food from the display is very nice but also the dine in meals are.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cannot go past the simplicity and consistency of Gipps St. Regular menu items are winners, the lemon risotto cake being just one fave, and an array of old fashioned sweet treats which are highly sort after. This cafe is one of Karori's open secrets. Very popular but amazingly easy to get a seat considering how small it is.....Sam and his team look after the elderly customers very well, access is good and free parking, so don't hesitate to bring elderly relatives here, they'll love it !

We popped in this week for a work meeting. Coffee was great and the staff were welcoming.
The cafe was full - obviously popular.
I'm excited to come back and sample some of the counter food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a great cafe but on 10 Jan it was shut for holidays. Perfectly reasonable but the Google entry said that they were open for business. Bit annoying.
Three stars because I have to star them to provide the feedback.
