★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always take ages to get to you. Even with a booking. Get a ride from friends or family if you can. It's Gisborne, it doesn't take an hour to drive from anywhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were picked up from an end of year party. The person that called on our behalf did not communicate well enough for the driver to easily locate us. He spent a good 5 minutes telling off the person that called for us and then yelled at the other person in the car to hurry up and close the door.
During our ride the driver pulled over to answer work text messages. I asked politely as I saw the meter was still running if we were still being charged. I tried to explain that I wasn't trying to be rude but he snapped at me stating that he didn't need my attitude. I advised I didn't have an attitude but was just checking. The driver then stated that no we wouldn't be charged, but then complained that it had cost him x amount to get to us and that I'd save my 2.50. I said thanks and left it at that. If it weren't for the fact that other guests would need a ride from the same out fit later in the evening, I would have served up a full helping of attitude. Will never use this service again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just want to thank the guy who picked me up in Scott St 2wks ago,I was haurangi ne' anywayz umm he dropped me off and I l dropped my wallet in tha taxi ae 'n' umm I didn't know until da nek day that my wallet was gone lol,he brought my wallet bck da taxi man mmyea ...too much alrite Gizzy taxi's, " oh yer umm I'm sure Dea was a hundie in dea ?na (jokes) well,!?Cheers..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Landed in Gisborne at 8:30pm and I tried to call a few other taxi companies and this was the only taxi company to pick up the call and sent a driver over. If it wasn’t for my driver, I would have been totally stranded in Gisborne and I am truly thankful. Thank you so much!!
