★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A standard 12 bunk hut and the head of the North Arm of lake Te Anau. Access is primarily by boat. Excellant hut. But boaties can leave the place looking like a pig sty at times. Frequented by hunters and fisherman. I can personally atest to the integrity of this hut during a good earthquake. Noisey but solid during the shake up.
