About Global Welding Supplies Wellington
Our Company
Our directors saw a need in Wellington for an alternative to the existing foreign owned welding supply companies. So in March 2008, Global Welding Supplies Wellington Ltd was started with a focus on local industry.
We entered into partnership with Global Welding NZ Ltd from Auckland. We gained an extensive product range, added technical expertise, a distribution network and a well respected name.
Since then we have greatly expanded our product and services offerings. We now have partner or supply agreements with all the other leading welding supply companies in NZ.
We deliver a quality service, with an extensive product range catering for all welding applications both common and uncommon.

β β β β β Very helpful staff who, if they don't have it in stock, and if not busy with other customers, go out of their way to ring around for you to try to locate it for you, from their opposition; They have a good range of stock, competitive pricing, and also sell expensive packeted consumables in small amounts unlike BOC.
Only thing they don't stock, is high grade Easyflo, above 58%Ag., but then neither do BOC, except in 50 stick $1000 plus, packs.

β β β β β Took my heavy-azz Transmig 130 down to Global welding supplies cos it wasn't feeding, and they had it sorted in no time! In the finish, I was able to fix my trailer without having to shell out for a new mig unit. The old T130 has some life left in it yet thanks to Colin and Rex. Great guys with a great attitude. Highly recommended!

β β β β β Great little shop that I never even knew existed! Just happened upon it by chance when I was in the Hutt for something totally unrelated. The fella in the store was very knowledgeable and helpful and the prices were great! Cheaper than Trademe, where i normally get my welding stuff from. Will definitely be going back for future welding related stuff.
