Whether size matters is something we definitely don´t want to discuss here. The fact that performance matters is something we do know! That´s why the Überkraft 3800 bass-reflex subwoofer makes no compromises whatsoever: The 380 mm high-performance driver with a generously sized 2" voice coil and pole core ventilation is fuelled by a maximum power output of 1,500 watts. A double bass-reflex port provides additional support for the hugely powerful and voluminous bass range. Extreme power generation together with concentrated emphasis and depth right down to the subsonic frequency range results from the combination of high-quality individual components. Thanks to the non-slip fabric covering and a sturdy protective grille, the stylishly designed woofer can easily be fitted in your car safely and securely.

Sadly I am highly unimpressed with the service from Abtec. Had a new reversing camera and head unit installed in my partners car. The VERY NEXT day it stopped working, advised to bring it back which we did. They couldn't fix there and then, no big deal, made an appointment. Turned up for the appointment, told it couldnt be done now. Sadly for Abtec I was sat in the car whilst my partner sorted this, I myself saw the workmen leaving the workshop for the day. Why give an appointment if you arent interested, we drove out from Wellington to Hutt in separate cars for this! Then advised next appointment is in 10 days time. When it finally got fixed the reversing camera isnt even straight. Whats the point of a camera that shows you're heading to the kerb all the time? I was going to put a reversing camera and new headunit in my own car, but will be going elsewhere. Seems that once Abtec get your money they aren't interested anymore. Really sadly disappointed.
addendum as abtec asked for more details and I dont know how to reply to a reply. Booked under fiona, silver subaru imprezza, camera installed 7/9/20, stopped working 8/9/20, returned 9/9/20 (couldn't fix) booked appointment 10/9/20 4.30pm (turned up, saw people leave, dealt with young blonde, rather uninterested, female never got the name, NOT the taller "slightly" older (apologies), blonde female who I must say was rather helpful with myself a different time) told next appointment would be 10 days later to which I let my partner take my spot as I was booked in to have head unit and camera installed (14/9/20, 8.30 drop off, even though you were "fully booked" but guess $1600 opens slots) dealt with young male with glasses, camera fixed in less time it took to walk the dog on the beach. Collected, found camera squint. Gave up, had brunch, went elsewhere to My Audio in Wellington. Installed my reversing camera told the headunit was a waste of time saving me $1000, fixed my partner's squint camera free of charge there and then. My Audio 5 stars customer service

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In October 2020 - I had a stereo and reverse camera installed, the guy at the main desk was very unprofessional, rude and quiet sloppy. Never stood up from his chair just sat down leaning back and not really taking much notice of anyone in the store.
However when i returned today (January 2021) i was greeted by two lovely ladies who had a tech take a look at something for me (he was very helpful and friendly), they were very lovely to talk to, both ladies (One named Georgia) standing up and welcoming everyone as they walked through the door, they made my second experience coming here a really good one. Thank you ☺

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were there to buy pioneer speakers but do not hold stock for this brand. We couldnt wait and bought another brand in store. Sales associate readily gave discount when asked as we bought 2 pairs. Morale of the story ask for discount and you never know if you get it. ;)

When I handed over my car to the workshop boys, I was recommended to try a better and cheaper solution. It has turned out to be excellent. I recommend Abtec to all car owners.
