★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Restored to a 1950s condition... great we hut, could do with bug screens on the window. Not to the same standard at the rest of the ORG huts but quaint and roof over your head. Open fire.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sweet little hut, well worth the wet feet crossing the river and great spot for lunch. Spotted 15+ tui in the two huge kōwhai above the hut! Beware of The Persistent Weka, Lord Protector of Goat Creek Hut and the South Mohikinui Realm. Quite keen on your lunch or anything left unattended…
