★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wifi pathetic to non existent despite having to pay for it
Asked in advance for two beach side caravan sites but not available when we arrived. Heard other campers discussing this same issue.
Expensive.
Pay showers.
Staff not particularly helpful or friendly.
The one saving grace for this camp is it's nice setting and lovely location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outstanding area for holidays with family.
Only minutes walk onto beach.
Owners are doing well as expected coming back into normality from C-19.
Only campground that allows dogs which is a deal breaker for my family.
Reasonable pricing for staying in tent and campervan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The beach front appartments were better than we could have ever imagined. Great stay, comfortable and so well situated, right on the beach. The most relaxing and private spot. Will be booking again. Thanks!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most custom-friendly holiday park! Plenty of space, new clean facilities, $2 for 12 min of hot water is more than enough! The same side with a beautiful shallow kids-safe beach with no road between. Great Dairy at the entrance and a good variety of surrounding cafes. Looking forward to come back! Thank you Goden Bay Holiday stuff! You are doing amazingly well!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice camp….toilet block ok…friendly management.
Price for myself in a motorhome, and a little dog, waterfront powered site was $58 per night. Was shocked as another camp further around towards farewell spit, was only been $22 per night since Xmas which was also peak time. Will probably not come again because of that, unless a huge reduction on price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No hassle about vax passes here. Well maintained and clean, but the facilities are a bit old and it's a bit pricey if you get sea views. However the sites are massive, and if you want a sea view spot you're right on the beach!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Premises are clean and newly painted it seems. 3 showers for each gender isn’t enough. Also at c/D block only 2 showers at each bathroom worked causing queues and a bit of friction at the ladies’. The beach has lots of stones from the river so most people end up going to nearby beaches (we saw many of our “neighbours” at the beaches we visited. Of note, the owner (Donna) could do with a smile. I came to the reception to buy ice creams a few times, greeted her every time by first name and with a friendly tone to which I received every time a dry/cold “hi…”. It is a family camping ground. I think the owner operator should be friendlier (like we have seen at many other grounds). The set up itself is nice and the grounds well maintained. We saw nil enforcing of the rules. No masks worn, the fridge in the common area smelled like it had a dead cat inside for days. People were talking/laughing past 10pm when most people/families already were sleeping. The little shop has plenty of shelf space and missing basic items like sun block and mosquito repellent (which is very much needed at this campground).
