★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thanks Golden Bay Kayaks.
Had a 3 day rental for a trip from Tata Beach to Marahau. Gear was great and Tony provided a really comprehensive briefing. Outstanding experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can't speak for the trip itself as yet because of bad weather, however the customer service was next level. Tony and Lisa were easy to contact, responsive and helpful both times I contacted them. We WILL be back to complete our overnight trip!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had so much fun going on a half day tour with young Will, a local guide who is very knowledgeable about the history of the area from a cultural point and also marine wildlife. We felt very safe and were given a good safety brief of the equipment and correct techniques on how to manoeuvre the sea kayak. Light refreshments were an added bonus during a break. We saw so much on this tour, such as fur seal, stringray, various sea birds and dramatic coastline. I highly recommend taking this tour. It was amazing and they have really cool merchandise for sale.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly and helpful service, I wish we booked full day rather than half day so could’ve hung out at the secluded beaches longer and had a swim. Highly recommended as easy to follow instructions and not long winded. I will definitely book them again, but full day next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I definitely recommend this place. We learned about the different birds living in the area, about the rock formations, some history of the area and saw a seal resting on the island we kayaked around. Our guide took good care of us and was friendly and we felt safe with all the equipment. We only did the 2 hour kayak but if the weather permits I recommend going half a day as 2 hours went really quickly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful experience. We left it very late deciding but were told "Come on down; we'll get you on the water." Safety briefing was best I've ever had, straightforward and comprehensive, with obvious experience behind it. A lovely place to kayak with islands and bird colonies, narrow gaps to paddle through, lovely isolated beaches only minutes from launch. Fantastic!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eric was such an amazing guide - very knowledgeable about the area, it’s history and the wildlife. I’d definitely recommend the half day tour which even includes a cuppa and biscuit stop!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thank you so much for a great half day trip. Will was such a great guide. Knew all the history and was obviously passionate about the area and wildlife. The weather was stunning. And the morning tea yummy. Well worth the price!!!! I should of done it years ago. Thanks
